Machinegunners of the 5th Landwehr Infanterie Regiment on the Russian front. The "Division von Einem" (Later 11. Landwehr Division) was in position opposite the Russian fortresses at Ossowiec.

The 3rd Machine Gun Comapny of the 6th Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment. The photograph was taken in January 1918 when the 10th Bavarian division was in the Bezange forest in Lorraine
